I crave them year round (even in the dead of winter!) and they are one of the easiest and quickest ways to get a ton of nutrients. While I like to switch up my smoothie ingredients to make sure that my body is getting a variety of nutrients, there’s been one ingredient that I just can’t get enough of lately – Goji Berries!

There is nothing more refreshing to me than a light, fruity goji berry smoothie. I crave them year round (even in the dead of winter!) and they are one of the easiest and quickest ways to get a ton of nutrients. While I like to switch up my smoothie ingredients to make sure that my body is getting a variety of nutrients, there’s been one ingredient that I just can’t get enough of lately – Goji Berries!
Goji berries are a fantastic superfood, loaded with antioxidants (one of the richest sources in the world!), vitamin C, amino acids and plenty of other vitamins and minerals. The list of goji berry benefits is endless, which is probably why I’m so obsessed with them right now! They have a slightly tangy but sweet taste (think dried cranberry) and pair well with relatively everything. This recipe pairs them with sweet strawberries and banana, along with the tang of lime – a perfect match if you ask me!


Servings: 1 smoothie
- ½ banana
- ¼ cup dried goji berries
- ¼ cup strawberries, diced and frozen
- ½ lime, juiced
- ½ cup almond milk
- ice, as needed
- Throw all ingredients into a high speed blender
- Blend on high until smooth.
- Add ice as needed!
- Gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, vegan, soy-free, paleo
